How to connect authentically – TEDxYouth Manchester 2014

BlackLogo

“Whether you realise it yet or not, you have an amazing gift to offer the world. The gift of you.”

Just moments after finishing my talk for TEDxBristol I was very kindly asked if I would like to speak at TEDxYouth Manchester in January. Naturally I jumped at the opportunity to continue the conversation about what it is like to be vulnerable and how to connect authentically with others. The audience this time was made up of 16 to 18 year olds.

David and I spent a wonderful time at The Fallibroome Academy (www.fallibroome.org.uk) and were very well looked after there. Mr Peter Rubery has a great team and they are definitely doing amazing stuff with the youth of Macclesfield!

I hope you like it.

Love, Sarah.

“When we fail to relate authentically it is because one of us is choosing to value protection over connection…”

It’s finally here… for everyone who has been asking about it – here is my talk at TEDx Bristol last month.

Hope you like it.

Love, Sarah.

“When we fail to relate authentically it is because one of us is choosing to value protection over connection…”

A big thank you to everyone who supported TEDxBristol either producing, speaking or attending. It was a truly inspiring day and huge congratulations go to the team who made it possible. Thank you also to everyone who tweeted me with their kind comments after my talk. For those who missed it, the link will be up soon, hopefully without my very long pregnant pause.

Keep de-spiking!

Love, Sarah.
